Incredibly fancy school. Your so lucky to have an art room
100% this is so real!!!
😂
I haven’t seen part one but I hope it includes stabbed erasers and missing glue stick lids 😂
Here's Part 1: instagram.com/reel/C5OHcMSugkn/
Lending your brushes and they cut them instead of cleaning them.
Nooo!
These pictures just unlocked elementary school memories
Yesss!
No bc my art teacher in elementary and high school was like a drill Sargent
You would spend atleast five minutes pass the bell still cleaning someone else’s mess lol
Being an art teacher is a lot of work and it involves managing a ton of art supplies and students!
dude I love the mystery clay, it's a like a fun surprise :]
Haha, that's a great perspective!
Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi my name is Astro, I am a professional artist and Art teacher, I would love to work with you and bring some of our ideas together to encourage some of my students. I really appreciate the content and I would love to merge both my love for astronomy and art together. This is awesome!
Hello! You can check out our Work With Us page if you're interested. theartofeducation.edu/work-with-aoe/
Thank you for sharing such a lovely home. I'm hoping to move to Tucson!
Thanks for watching!
What thoughtful and beautiful spaces, thanks for sharing them with us.
Thanks, Amber!
What ink is used
You can use any fabric dye!
Gorgeous spaces! Def different than the working and living spaces of most public school art teachers.
Agreed! It’s fun to daydream about what we would do if afforded that reality though, right? 😜
Thanks! It's been a long journey but happy with the outcome. We do most everything ourself so it takes a lloooonnnnggg time 😂
Thanks for watching, Sarah!
Reggie, you are AMAZING! My students love your work ❤❤❤
We can't wait for the next NOW Conference!
Good for you and we'll done 🙏🎨🎨
Thanks for watching, Dina!
At 8:19 into the video the kids are using an ink or paint filled plastic bottle to draw fat black lines, what exactly are those called and where can they be purchased? great video.
They are empty/refillable paint daubers! You can find them online.
Wait when did she have lunch tho?
Unfortunately, we didn't have time to show every single part of Nic's day!
This whole series has been so great, I love it - thank you!
Yay! Glad to hear!
This was such an incredibly helpful video. Thank you for all of the suggestions and tips! You’ve gotten me excited about next school year. I was dreading the amount of work, but now I see I can reach out for support and how to go about it. Thank you! Also, quick question how did you use those clear circle plastic lids ?
SO glad to hear this was helpful. There are endless ways to reach out and ask for help so you don't have to do it all yourself! Renae used the clear lids as paint palettes!
I found out about neurographic art a few months ago while on UA-cam and was instantly hooked.
It's very satisfying to watch and make!
Pero no debería llevar resistencias para que no se queme?
It's a very small amount so it shouldn't be a problem!
OMG now I need a mini slow cooker! ...I wonder if I can find one in purple?
They're THE best! 🙌🏼
Maaaaaaaaan...the art crimes in my doggone classroom!!! I actually had a student tear off the corner with another student's name on it and tried to turn it in as hers. Smh
Wild!
Thank you so much!!! I can't get flex or pro learning curriculums, so I'm really grateful for free stuff you show here!! 🎉
You're welcome! As a reminder, there are ways to get your district or school to pay for FLEX and PRO. Visit our website and chat with our Team! artofed.info/3TxUDcc
Uyeyyruueurhehkznvajjdshebnsmnnvmmjzjgjfkskjhzjjakjjjdkk show me the numbers
Absolutely jampacked with outstanding ideas!!! Thank you so much!
Wonderful! Glad you enjoyed this episode!
Thanks for the great ideas! What type of paint do you use for the mushrooms?
Acrylic would work best but tempera would also work!
Cardboard is super versatile and covered in a previous video, scrap product packaging is great for collage or sculpture, bottle caps of all sizes, plastic forks, cut down cereal boxes are also super great as the base for collage or low relief sculptures for younger students to cut with scissors.
Yes, thin cardboard from packaging makes a great surface for collage!
I'm really enjoying this low cost art supplies series.
So happy to hear!
Thank you for all these thrifty tips!
You're welcome!
Kevin is truly a master of education❤ his energy is fully inspiring thanku 🙏
🤩
Thanks for watching, Christina!
Could i use a color pencil to copy instead of graphite pencil😊
You can use a colored pencil to apply pressure to the transfer but colored pencil lead won't transfer. Hope that makes sense!
Oooh, the Eiffel Tower story is a doozy!
It really is!
Who put a paper towel in the sink? 😂 I always find interesting things in the sink
Haha, yes!
One of my students made and placed a paper boat in my backed up sink. I still chuckle at the memory. :)
Yeah it is true thoo
Yesss!
It’s so funny I take the last 2 packs or so of copy paper and take the box too 😂
Copy paper boxes are the best!
What was added to the old chalkboard that now has the pegboard on it? Dry Erase vinyl or something similar??
Dry erase contact paper!
Do you have instructions on how to fold the explosion books? It just goes too fast for me with the black paper, lol. 😅
If you need slower instructions, you can Google "explosion books" and several tutorials pop up! Hope that helps.
How did u make this
The teacher explains the materials she used to make this in the audio!
Hamilton!
This was such a fun episode! Hope you enjoyed it.
Thank you! ❤
Hope the fibers ideas were helpful!
Thank you so much for this! You’re an awesome teacher. I love the hands on top that means stop! I’m totally using that.❤
Joe is full of great tips! Stay tuned because he will be coming back to AOEU's UA-cam channel soon!
Could u use a normal pencil and trace it on a t shirt like that?
You probably could but it would be much more difficult to transfer.
@@theartofed yeah I did try it but it didn't really work but thank u
Love everything I saw in this video!! ❤🎉👏 Thank you for inspiring us!! 🎨 The boom boxes art installation will be one of the projects I would like to do with my students. Did you contacted this project with a reading, artist, or anything educational?
We love her boombox project too! It's super fun. You can reach out to Renae with specific questions on connections via her social handle in the description box!
Wow! The bins with accordion folders with plastic envelopes is genius! Exactly what I need. Any guidance on which accordion folders are best would be appreciated ❤
Great! You can reach out to Paula Liz for her specific recommendations. Her social handle is in the description box.
The majority of art teachers I know do not have art rooms like any of these. These are fancy schools!
There are many episodes in this series featuring teachers without classrooms, shared classrooms, and other non-traditional teaching environments. We hope you watch some more!
You are awesome. I am a high school art teacher but these projects are still very relevant for us! Much appreciated! Thx for the good vibes as well!
We agree that they can be adapted to work well with all grades!
Seed Bombs! Mind blown! What a great idea ;) Thanks!
Great for Earth Day!
Love the way you introduced knitting with skewers and quilling with toothpicks to your students.
Yes! Sometimes there are great hacks for expensive art tools!
